Dublin has been chosen by Pope Francis to host the next World Meeting of Families from 21-26 August 2018, guided by the theme “The Gospel of the Family: Joy for the World”. Held every three years, this event brings together families from across the world to celebrate, pray and reflect upon the central importance of marriage and the family as the cornerstone of our lives, of society and of the Church. This is open to everyone, individuals, families, groups, married, single, clergy, youth, children and pensioners. The cost for Adults ranges from €68 – €33. To guarantee participation in the final Mass at which it is hoped Pope Francis will also participate, a ticket for at least one day is required. However there is no cost for the final Mass and tickets will be obtained on a first come first served basis to those without tickets for the congress. Children are free. For tickets, details of the programme and all other information go to

Or speak to Fr. Charles or Pauline Stanway. We’d love some families to take this up and we will also accompany them.
