The sacrament of Eucharist is the third sacrament of initiation through which we receive the Body and Blood of Christ. The Church teaches that Christ is really present in the bread and wine consecrated by the priest at Mass.

Young people in the parish go through a period of preparation before making their First Holy Communion, with special masses taking place annually in June.

Because Christ himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is honoured with the worship of adoration. “To visit the Blessed Sacrament is…a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1418)
