to our parish website here at Our Lady of Assumption (St. Mary’s) Church Rhyl. A parish in the Catholic Diocese of Wrexham, North Wales. The Parishioners of this Parish come from 43 diverse nationalities all over the world. You are most welcome to visit and be part of the worshipping community.

There will be a retiring collection for the CAFOD Family Fast Day on 6th October.
Church Flowers
The Church Florists are asking for your help with Flowers in the Church. There will be a retiring collection next Sunday to help them in the provision of the weekly Flowers in the Church.
Extra-Ordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion
Two of our parishioners have completed their training as extra-ordinary ministers of the Holy Communion. They will be installed on Sunday, 15th September 2024.
Care of Creation
The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation starts 1st September. During this season we are encouraged to pray and engage in community events in order to deepen our relationship with God, our neighbour and the earth we share.
Parish Retreat Day
The Charismatic prayer group, Rhyl, will be having a one day Retreat on Saturday 14th Sept. : 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Parishioners are welcome to join the group for Prayer, Music and community life. Prayer ministry will be available for those who want it. Please bring a packed lunch while coming....

The Religious Article Shop has now Christmas articles in stock: Cards, Rosaries, Birthday Cards, Children Gift Items. You can now pay for your purchases using the Contactless Machine in the Church.
Diocesan Safeguarding
There will be a diocesan safeguarding Training here in the Social Area on Saturday 12th October 10am – 12.30 pm.
Poor Parishes Collection.
There will be a retiring collection next Sunday, 25th August for the poor parishes in the diocese of Wrexham. Please be generous.
