Saturday 27th June is the new date for the Afternoon Tea which was postponed earlier this year. Tickets that were sold for the old date are still valid and new tickets will be on sale at the back of church from this weekend

Summer Family Day
Marriage and Family Life Commission invites you to a fun-filled Family Summer Day at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Llandudno on Sunday, 12th July from 1.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Parish Feast 2026
The annual feast of the Parish for 2026 will be on Sunday, 16th August at 10.00 a.m.
Mission Appeal
The Society of African Missions (SMA) will be having their appeal here in the Parish on the weekend of 13th /14th of June. One of their Priests will be here to tell us about their Mission.
Priests’ Retreat
There will be a retreat for all the Priests in the Diocese from 1st June to 5th June 2026. During this period there will be no weekday Masses. Weekend Masses begins as usual on Saturday 6th June at 5.00 p.m.
Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation this year will be on Friday, 3rd July 2026 at 6.30 p.m.
First Holy Communion
The first Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, 7th June at 10.00 a.m.
Diocesan Youth Day
Wrexham Diocese Youth Day for Year 9 upwards will be at St. David’s Catholic Church, Mold from 10:30 am. All Confirmation candidates and youths of our parish are expected to attend. Consent forms are available for parents to please, sign.
BISHOP’S FUND

African Mass:
The next bi-monthly African Mass will be in Ruthin next Sunday, 24th May at 2.00 p.m.
Renewal of Commitment
The extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist will be renewing their commitment on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday June 7th.
Sacraments
First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, 7th June at 10:00 a.m. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Friday, 3rd July at 6:30 p.m
Adoration, Rosary & Holy Mass.
We shall resume the weekly Adoration, Rosary and Holy Mass on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The adoration starts with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by the Holy Rosary and finally the Holy Mass at 11.00 a.m.
Eastertide Family Day: 10th May 2026
The Eastertide Family Day, organised by Marriage & Family Life Coordinator, will take place at the Bridgettine Convent, St Winefride’s Guest House, 20 New Road, Holywell, CH8 7LS from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. See poster on the notice board on your way out.
Ministers Retreat
Ministers of the Word and Ministers of the Eucharist are required to attend an annual day retreat as part of their commitment to the ministry. Date: Friday 15th May at Noddfa Penmaenmawr LL34 6YF. Please meet in the car park at 9:00 am and leave together
