Venue: St Francis of Assisi, Llay at 7.30 In the light of Pope Francis’ warnings in Laudato Si and of CAFOD’s ongoing campaign and petition our topic is: Professor of Physical Oceanography at the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University Tom is the established Chair in Physical Oceanography. He is an observational oceanographer with a strong research interest in turbulence and mixing in the marine environment. His current research focuses on the impact of the tides and wind on melting Arctic sea ice. He is a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
