Denbighshire County Council are holding an afternoon workshop on Thursday 22nd August in the Little Theatre. There will be information about dementia and about what’s happening in Rhyl. There will also be time to share ideas about how to spread awareness and how to provide supports for people and their families. This is important work and I suggest good for our parish to be involved Margaret Hinton, Diocesan Family coordinator, is also working with members of Rhyl parish to spread awareness and to make our practices and events dementia-friendly. Thanks to Pauline, Roy and Christine who are producing an Action Plan to do this at parish level. (More about this is coming.) Fr Charles will attend the day in the Little theatre and it will be good if others can come to contribute.
