Housing Justice

Helps UK churches to explore creative ways of selling property, which will help the local church but also provide social housing solutions for people. They might bring in outside funders, local authorities and housing associations to achieve this purpose. Although we have the go-ahead from the Diocese to sell the parish house and build presbytery and meeting g rooms, such a discussion is going on at the moment with Housing Justice in relation to our own building plans. We have also applied for funding to help us create new meeting rooms. We can only do this because the parish hosts and runs a variety of activities involving the wider community.
