A parish team meeting was held last week through Zoom software, just to catch up with our buildings progress and also to review how feeding the hungry is going locally (thanks to several parishioners who are helping deliver food at Good News Mission’s marvellous project.) We are also seeking funding to help with food provision for the Good News mission and Christ the Word Catholic School. We are still going through bureaucratic hoops prior to receiving planning permission for the new presbytery. Currently the flood risk assessment is proving complicated. We hope that a go-ahead will come soon
