Welsh government are working to change the Welsh School curriculum. They’re consulting till 28th July. Proposed RE changes will have a significant effect on Catholic Schools, forcing them to teach the new Religion, Values and Ethics syllabus as do non-church schools, alongside our own confessional syllabus The Welsh bishops and Catholic Education Service are in talks with the Education minister, arguing also that during the crisis isn’t a good time for change anyway.
