…in Marsh Rd with the good News Mission. If you recall, last July we sought help from the Albert Gubay Foundation to help fund food provision for what has been about 70 to 80 families locally. They gave us £20,000. A detailed report has been compiled from the weekly reports, accounts, receipts, photographs and stories, as we now explore next moves. The volunteers have seen some really difficult situations. One mother and eight children have had their lives hugely improved. One desperate man was referred for drugs counselling. One family is threatened or attacked regularly and efforts are being made to find a new home. The team have helped single people who hadn’t had a conversation with anyone for months. And much more……
