Following last week’s piece on the wonderful Mazin Qumsiyeh, can you help another peacemaker, Issa Amro, who is standing trial for his peaceful community organizing?
Issa is a Palestinian Human Rights Defender from Hebron who co-founded the nonviolent Youth Against Settlement group. He faces politically-motivated charges in the Israeli military court, described by Amnesty International as “baseless.” We have been informed the judge will find him guilty on the majority of the charges and the verdict will be presented very soon. He may face years in jail. He needs our help!
