TCC have a local meeting on housing this Tuesday (9th March) at 1pm. To update you, at the AGM last Oct, with the Welsh Prime minister present, TCC announced it would seek to push for a housing charter, through dialogue with the three local county Councils, Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire (DCC has been the most responsive so far).
Issues we have discussed included, availability of housing, communication between housing officers and people with housing problems. We ask for people being housed to be given proof that private rented properties are fit for human habitation.
