Parishioner Paul Toal kindly suggested he make a short film, so that I might share with you a bit of what being in St Mary’s and in Rhyl has meant to me over the twenty years (24 years if you include my time as an assistant priest). Since we can’t gather, this may be a way for me to say goodbye properly, but including those who can’t access church.
Paul made the film last Friday and is now going to edit it . You’ll be able to access it on Facebook or the parish website. Strangely, Christ the Word staff are also making a similar film, since opportunities for me to see and say goodbye to the pupils is limited also. Both films will be in the form mainly of a conversation with questions. Thanks to them for this opportunity. It’s a good chance to say thank you to many many people and I’m grateful to be able to do this.
