A retiring collection is taken once a year called the Bishop’s Fund. The expenses are now consolidated in the annual Levies.
The annual cost to the Diocese (i.e. the parishes) of having a bishop and running the diocese is quite high. Bishop Peter thanks you for your generous support. There will be a retiring collection next weekend.
